My story
Dusty is a 2-year-old male Shepherd mix who must be neutered before he is adopted. He came to PAHS as a stray who was found out in the county; and his owner never came to reclaim him. Dusty is brown with a good bit of white markings; and he also has some black highlights and a black muzzle. He currently weighs 57 pounds so he is considered to be a large adult dog. Dusty is a good looking fellow with a very sweet disposition to match his good looks. He is friendly and enjoys walking on his leash so much so that sometimes his friskiness gets a bit out of hand. We are working on that with Dusty. He loves attention and looks forward to playing outside with both our staff and other dogs. He would LOVE a nice fenced yard where he could safely play. Dusty would also be great with children. This awesome dog is looking forward to a new life and can't wait to be adopted and loved!Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120 and cat/kitten adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
