Dulcenea's story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.
Dulcenea is a 17 month old greyhound (miniature) mix who currently weighs 23 pounds. Her estimated DOB is 4-19-17. Dulcenea was rescued in a town in Mexico, taken to a rescue in Puerto Nuevo, Mexico and now is in foster care. Dulcenea's current foster says Dulcenea needs a family where someone will be home most of the time, and hopefully a home with kids and another dog. Dulcenea has separation anxiety so when left alone in a yard, she will try to get out and is an accomplished fence jumper. The foster says that when she worked from home Dulcenea would just follow her around the house and never leave her side. She will lay on your bed with you and never move, all night, and she never barks. She is crate trained and never goes potty in the house. She is pretty shy around men (especially tall men with hats) but does come around eventually. She is great with women. Dulcenea travels well in the car and loves to go to dog park. She enjoys playing with other medium to large sized dogs and loves to have them chase her. It is now time to find Dulcenea her forever home and she hopes her new family will have lots of time to spend with her. If you would like to meet Dulcenea, please go to our website, stpacossecondchancedogrescue.org, to submit an application. Dulcenea is already spayed and will be up to date on all vaccines and will be microchipped. by the time her adoption is complete. Her adoption fee is $350.
