Duke is a green winged macaw.

　　I was told he is in his 30s, but Im not sure. He was taken out of a bad situation and after fostering with me he is ready to find his forever home. He is a True lover. Adores females over males and generally picks the family member he would like to call his favorite person. He loved my 17 year old daughter. However, still was awesome with me. Duke has been through several homes, some I hear not so nice. He has an awesome personality. He dances, shakes his head yes and no, says a few words and says some of them automatically before a treat.

　　He eats Zupreem large parrot food. Enjoys almost every fruit and we are still working on vegetables. Showers are a go, most times. Duke did not come with a cage and has been cage free. Hes been on some large perches at my home plus non toxic branches from outside. Im sure with some training he will learn to stay in a cage when needed. He is an avid wood eater and that means all wood. He does not do well on a wooden chair that you do not want chewed on or wood stairs etc. Hes been fine with dogs and cats and even another Macaw. Must have large bird experience.
