Duke's story

　　Duke is one of four of a litter of nine feral kittens that were found on a South Texas farm. He was brought to Colorado and socialized and now he's ready for his forever home. He is a blue pointed cream cat. His favorite activity is eating. His next favorite activity is purring. And it's hard to resist letting him do anything he wants when you stare into his dreamy blue eyes. Duke is a charmer, which serves him well as he holds court with his brothers and sisters, convincing them that they don't really need to eat all of their dinner (or lunch) and he can negotiate a suitable location for the leftovers.

　　We can't wait to see him grown up and all the things he accomplishes with his refined cat negotiation skills. Cats are known to be excellent negotiators at getting their own way and Duke is well on his way to perfecting the art. We expect he will be spoiled rotten in the right home and make a family very very happy in the process. Or perhaps, at least, confused as to why the cat has moved into the master bedroom, taken over the bed, and is eating cavier on the regular.
