My story
AVAILABLE SOON! CONTACT US FOR PRE-ADOPTION!
In December of 2022 a group of dogs were taken from a sad and dangerous situation in Flint, MI. Many of the group were puppies who were only weeks old.
Some of them came infected with parvo, and many, sadly, did not survive. Most went to foster where they have been raised by giving volunteers, until they legally were released to rescues in May of 2023. SCARR was able to rescue 3 of these little pups who are now ready for their forever homes.
This is what Duke’s foster mom has to say about Duke: “This is Duke! He such a sweet, playful, go with the flow boy. He loves to cuddle and recently has been sleeping right next to me throughout the entire night. He is mostly potty trained, has a few accidents here and there. He’s good with other dogs, he’s met cats before and was good, and good with kids. (He’s playful and likes to jump still so they will have to keep that in mind for little kids). He is crate trained and recalls well. He knows sit and stay. We are working on down currently. All in all he’s a great dog and will make a great companion!”
