Last winter season I tried to much better heat an addition to our house utilizing a pair of 6 inch, in-duct Suncourt DG6GTP enhancer fans, each efficient in 350 CFM. I regulated them with a Suncourt Ductstat (which has heat and cool modes). The increased airflow was rather noticeable. Due to inadequate insulation this had no measurable result on the temperature of the space. Subsequently, we discovered and insulated that we not had to run these fans.
These are wonderful for enhancing air flow. These set-ups are obviously popular additions to house grow rooms. The booster fans are likewise popular for industrial kitchen hood vents. They truly suck! (or blow, depending upon orientation.);).
I have one Ductstat and two enhancer fans. Each in-line booster fan has been wired with a heavy duty, 110V three-prong power cord. I'm asking $20 for each part or $50 for the entire sha-bang.
