My story

　　Dear Duchess's future adopter,

　　Here's a refined lady who truly knows that she's been rescued. She's living the good life in foster care, but she can't wait to claim her own forever queendom. If you're willing to serve as one of her royal subjects, then prepare yourself for the overwhelming amount of slow-blinks, air biscuits, and head-bonks she's been waiting to bestow upon you.

　　Duchess is a 5 year old female with a beautiful torbie pattern. She is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and negative for FIV and FeLV. This precious mama of three immediately warms up to every human she meets, and she needs a home where she is either a solo cat or where she can trust that her humans will gradually introduce her to a new kitty friend at her own pace. She will also need a very careful, gradual introduction to any dogs in the home.

　　Duchess has come a long way from her start on the streets of Texas. She is continuing to warm up to the idea of manicures, but she's not comfortable with pedicures quite yet. Duchess loves sisal rope scratching posts, catnip, and toy mice. You'll know she's fallen in love with you when she calmly gazes at you with her bright green eyes, softly purrs, and lounges against your side.
