Drop Camp for Elk and Deer: This is for 7 days for rifle and 10 days for archery or blackpowder. There is 1 day pack-in and 1 day pack-out included.
Drop Camp Includes: 16x16 wall tent, cot and pads, wood stove, cooking stove, cooking utensils, fire wood cut, game packing, and horse pack in and out.
Simi-Guided Drop Camp: 1 guide with 3 horse are in the camp during the hunt. Benefits of this hunt is the guide can give tips and local knowledge during the hunt, has horses in camp to bring in any game taken, and can take hunters to areas further away from camp if necessary, all of which helps to increase hunting opportunities and hunter success.
Tent camps in elevations of 10,000 to 12,000 ft.
The Elk area we hunt has a very high bull to cow ratio and low hunting pressure, with bulls scoring up to 350 B/C points. This is a non-migrating herd, so you know there will be elk in the area when you hunt. Our guided clients have had a 80% success on 5x5 and 6x6 bulls.
Our drop camp hunts are only $1500.

Archery hunters, this is a draw unit and you will likely draw with one point and at times with zero points.
To book this hunt for 2013, you will need to put down a $250 deposit and complete a contract. In January, 2013 the remaining 50% of the balance will be due.
