My story
Hi, I'm Droopy! I come to Arizona Beagle Rescue from the big ol' state of Texas. I was found on the street by a Good Samaritan who took me to a boarding facility. I got to stay in boarding while the nice humans looked for my owners and determined if I had a home that wanted me back. It was determined that I needed to find a new home, and I got to go in the car for a long ride. Now, I'm told I'm in Arizona!I have a foster home where I get to play with other dogs (we have a grand old time!), I get to snuggle on the bed with my humans at night, and life is just swell. I am great with other dogs (cats unknown), I have only had limited exposure around kids (but have shown no aggression or concern), and have no food aggression. I like playing with toys and am learning to walk nicely on a leash. My foster mom says I am a 'door dasher' and she has to be careful that I don't sneak out an open door when given the slightest opportunity! Here's some other notes my foster mom has to say about me:"Droopy is a healthy young adult who has a limp due to an old injury to his back leg. It is suspected that he may have been hit by a car due to the fact that he will sit on the sidewalk and stop walking until a car passes by. For the most part, the leg does not limit his daily activity though he will on occasion need help getting up into a high car/other area. He likes short walks but a long walk might bother his leg (we have not tried longer walks yet as he is still working on leash walking)."So, do you think I might fit into your family?Luv,Droopy
