Mr. Drake is wondering why his perfect forever family hasn't stepped up!
Drake is an approximate 2-3 y/o, neutered male. He is UTD on shots, prevention, neutered and healthy; has phenomenal skin/coat. He is great with all people and kids. He does jump a bit with excitement, but foster mom is working on this.
This boy has medium energy. He needs a 30–40-minute walk daily and some ball time. He loves to fetch! We are working on him catching balls thrown/bounced to him. Basically, all he needs is a walk, ball time and yard time and he is worn out.
Drake is easy to train, as he is very food motivated and an excellent listener! He is trained to come, sit, shake and down. He is crate, house, leash and car trained; will need a seatbelt as he was not exposed to this prior to his foster mom so he will end up in your lap to help drive!
He does show barrier aggression when he sees another dog on the opposite side of a fence/barrier but this has improved and will continue to improve. Foster mom must put him on a leash and pull him away from the fence. He does pull toward other dogs on walks too but as time has passed, he has progressed in a positive direction. He is a strong boy! Foster mom will continue to work with him, but this appears to be his only issues at this time.
He must have a strong, calm leader for proper dog introductions. He would be successful with other dogs if properly introduced.
