These were the grandfathers of a friend of mine, I think they are made in Germany. They have a U stamped on the compasses 41/2" x 9" black case eleven piece set. the case has a sliding pin lock, everything works and looks. I seen one like this on ebay that the bid began at 169.00 dollars.
