Meet Dove!
https://youtu.be/X8MzeOYNKEs
Dove is almost 5 years old (approx. DOB 6-14-18), female, 35 lbs., vetted, is or will be spayed, and micro-chipped. Her picture makes her look big; she is very petite! Dove was found as an abandoned homeless stray with 2 other friend dogs that unfortunately we did not find in time. She is a shy and timid dog who is looking for a patient and loving home. Dove has been a mama dog; we LOVE our mama dogs! She gets along well with other dogs (needs another dog in the home), likely is good with cats, and would do best in a quiet home with a family who is willing to give her the time and space she needs to adjust. Despite her initial fear of new people and situations she has a heart of gold and is eager to find someone who will help her blossom into the loving and playful companion she truly is. Dove is looking for a calm and patient home where she can feel safe and secure. With time and patience Dove will slowly begin to come out of her shell and show her true personality. Despite her shy nature, Dove is beginning to show her playful side in a safe, familiar environment. Repetition daily is a huge benefit for introverted pups that need to observe and build confidence. If you're looking for a dog who needs a little extra love and support please consider this sweet deserving girl! Stay tuned for more information as Dove is a new rescue!

Disclosure:
Breed labels are often incorrect: we rarely know the genetic lineage of the dogs we rescue. Many shelters and rescues specify breeds based on appearance; however, research has shown that less than 2% of a dog’s DNA determines appearance!
Passion 4 Paws does not practice the use of labels pertaining to compatibility with others or dog breed. Labels such as “dog friendly” and “child friendly” should be used with caution as they often over-simplify the personalities and behavior of dogs.
