My story

　　Hi There! My name is Douglas and I'm about 6 months old and my foster mom and dad say I'm very well behaved for such a young pup!  Maybe that&#

　　9;s why I have such a grown up name for a youngster . I just try to do what's asked and I don't get into mishchief.  I have another adult male lab in my home who is a great role model!  I've been watching him and trying to emulate his behavior and that has gotten me lots of brownie points . We have a great time playing together and I'm hoping to have another doggie pal in my homeI I'm learning so many skills in my foster home! Like how to use a dog door. Wow! That's pretty cool. I can go outside whenever I want. And leash walks are the best! I get to explore the neighborhood and meet new dogs and people. Everyone is so nice!  I'm working on being the best doggie I can be so I can be a beloved member of someone's family.  I'm doing great on my house training, am friendly with canine and humans and even kitties (I lived with cats in my previous home). My foster mom says I have a handsome face and soulful brown eyes. Ahhh shucks.  My coat is short and I do not have an undercoat so I don't shed a whole lot. Being from the Navajo Nation, I'm a true blue mixed breed mutt but I could have some Shepherd or maybe Black Mouthed Cur.
