My story

　　Dottie is a 7-month-old female Pointer/Lab mix who must be spayed before she is adopted. She came to PAHS as an owner turn in because her owners realized that didn't have enough time to spend with her. Dottie is a good looking girl who is solid white except for a black dot over her right eye so the name 'Dottie' is perfect for her. She currently weighs 44 pounds so she is considered to be a medium sized dog. Dottie has adorable ears that are constantly moving to take in the sounds around her. She is a very playful girl who would love to safely romp in a secure fenced yard. Dottie is already house trained but she needs work on her leash training. Her previous owners shared she does know some basic commands like 'sit', etc. Dottie is good with other dogs and great with children. This gorgeous and frisky girl would enjoy life best with an owner who would take up lots of time with her and include her in lots of outdoor adventures. She is a wonderful dog! ****Please note that when introducing a new dog into a home with children and other pets adult supervision is strongly recommended until the new dog settles in with the family.****Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120 and cat/kitten adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
