My story
The big spot of love!Hey guys! I am Dot, a heart shaped gal full of sweetness. I am an 8 months old, female German Shepherd mix, weighing about 41 lbs. I was found in the desert of Arizona and after a 6 hour chase, we were rescued. After being taken to the shelter, fixed, TAP brought us to our sweet foster home. I have been working on my bathroom, crate and leash training since then. I am very shy and I take time trusting, but once I do, it's beautiful! Don't mind the shy growls, I don't mean to be mean. Desensitization will really help me.I am a right-on friendly gal and get along fabulously with my siblings and all the dogs, big or small. I havent met kiddos or kitties yet. But dogs, ooh my! I can play all day! I am not super high energy though and dont need too much exertion. My foster brother troubles me all day, but I really dont mind it. While on walks, I like to pick up random stuff, and my favorite is to bring newspaper to our door! Masks, banana peel, sticks come next. I am good in the crate and sleep there without complaints. I am just an overall sweet, smart and fun lady and love to be a lil shadow. I pick my person and loyalty is important to me, once I trust. I dont want much, just companionship.A perfect home for me would be semi-active family with fun walks, but not quite miles long hikes. I would love to have a companion doggie sibling to show me the ropes and to teach me that most humans can be amazing! I would be fine by myself, but crated till I get over my puppiness. If you think we can be a pawfect family without a spot of doubt, let's meet up! My adoption fee is $500 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/##1214870##
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Dot, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
