DORA's story
Hi. My name is Dora. Although I don`t let it stop me from playing and enjoying life, I have a neurological issue that causes me to be wobbly when I walk and slightly clumsy. The shelter vet said it should not get any worse and no medication or treatment is necessary. It should not affect my quality of life or life expectancy. Due to my wobbliness and clumsiness, I cannot use a cat tower. Although I love to climb on things, I might fall and injure myself. Also, a home with carpet or lots of rugs would be best for me. I must be an indoor-only cat.
I am a very fun, playful and active kitten. My foster family says I have a really great and fun personality and they love playing with me or watching me play. I love to purr and talk to show my affection or request attention. My foster family always says I am as sweet and fun as I am cute. When I am ready to rest, I love sitting on my human`s lap and cuddling.
My favorite toys are fake mice with rattles in them, balls, and toys hanging from a stick. I am teething right now so I like toys I can bite, including small stuffed animals.
Although I have not lived with children, I was a good girl when I was held by children on a couple occasions.
I have experience with cats of all ages and very small dogs (although I am always scared when first meeting a new dog).
I am looking for a home where I will be truly loved and can have lots of fun playing with my new family members, both furry and human.
