My story

　　Meet Dora, an aDORAble 2-year old, 16-pound Dachshund mix who is longing for a lifetime of love, loyalty, fun, and friendship. Hey, aren’t we all? Smart cookie, that Dora! Well, if any dog deserves it, it’s Dora, for sure-a!

　　Looking for a dog who is easy to hold? CHECK. Looking for a dog who is great with humans? CHECK. Looking for a dog who is affectionate? CHECK. Looking for a dog who is clever? CHECK. Looking for a dog who is playful? CHECK. Looking for a dog who can coexist with other dogs and cats? CHECK CHECK CHECK. And those are just a few of the boxes that are checked off. There are more!

　　Dora loves to eat and is extremely treat motivated. She has been making remarkable progress with her housebreaking skills and is now able to hold her bladder for pretty long stretches. Dora jumps and runs in circles when she is pleased and excited. When she sees you walk into the house, she makes these little happy sounds to express her glee.

　　Dora an absolute doll who likes being cuddled and caressed, and will kiss you back by giving you gentle licks with her warm soft tongue. Awwwwww!

　　Dora would fit into a variety of lifestyles and will make an awesome addition to any household looking for a furry new friend.
