My story
The most a-dough-rable!Hey sweet-tooths! My name is Donut and I am a 2 year old, 65 lbs, neutered male Shepherd mix and I am a rescue from TJ. I was hanging out at the TAP HQ before my wonderful foster mama took me in to provide a warm, safe home and some essential training. I am all bathroom and crate trained, and getting better on leash and pulling. Leash reactivity has been getting me glazed and confused, but with positive reinforcement and desensitizing to triggers, I shall be pretty pawfect! Treats help a lot with my training. ;)I am a love bug and I truly believe that I must sprinkle happiness everywhere I go! I am loyal, goofy and sweeter than strawberry jam. I am quick to learn and aim to please. My playfulness is quite apparent and I would love a yard to have zoomies in and getting my energies out. Once done, couch cuddles are to me what chocolate is to, well, donuts! I am a bit of a velcro and expect me like a lil shadow around the home. I still have some reactivity, so I would be better as an only dog in the house for now. I am very good with my foster kiddo siblings, but should be supervised only because I still think I am a lap dog and not a big dog at all and I may sit on a toddler!I would love to fill the dog-sized hole in your heart and home with my deliciousness! I would love a moderately active home where I can have access to a yard and have fun. I would like to be the only dog for now. If you think we can be like jelly and glaze, let's meet up! My foster mama is my savior angel and has taken care of my adoption fee. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/ ##1254953##
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Donut, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
