My story

　　Donnie is a very mellow and sweet boy. He loves people and will follow you everywhere gently wagging his tail. He loves being pet and will sit next to him to give you kisses. He is very affectionate for an Australian Shepherd dog. He would jump on a couch if called to cuddle and give you kisses. Donnie is good in a car, and is fabulous on the leash. He passes other dogs calmly, he is interested in squirrels but does not suddenly pull or bark when he sees them, just watches.Donnie is potty and house trained but does not like the kennel. He was friendly to the female dog he met, but didn`t try to play, and would be a good companion for another mellow who does not need an extensive amount of dog play. Because he does not need an extensive amount of exercise, he would do fine as a single dog. He does not like when his people leave, and is looking for someone who is working from home or is retired, and would not leave him alone for extended amounts of time during transition time. Donnie loves walks and stops often to sniff. He is very fond of the 12 year old boy who lives with him, but did not meet younger children. Donnie would be a perfect companion for people who are looking for a calm, affectionate and friendly dog.DONNIE`S ADOPTION HAS BEEN PAID FOR WITH A DONATION FROM A COMMUNITY MEMBER
