Domingo the dingo is a 45 lb, 10 month old GSD mix looking for a new home. He was rescued in January from Sayulita, Mexico, where he grew up a street dog. His ideal home would allow him to be the only dog and soak up all the attention. Domingo loves to cuddle and be near his person. Hes exceptionally smart (sit, down, shake, and spin are a few of his skills) and loves learning new tricks especially when treats are involved. He loves going on car rides and walks around the neighborhood!
Domingo is crate trained and housebroken. He will not do well in a home with cats or small animals as he has a strong prey drive. Resource guarding is a concern that will need to be worked on. It isnt consistent and has lessened however high value bones and toys seem to trigger the behavior more strongly.
Domingo does have microopthalmia in right eye and is blind on that side however that doesnt interfere with his daily activities and he has been evaluated by the CSU Veterinary Teaching hospital (records available). Contact Courtney [email protected] for any information on re homing Domingo.
