　　Mike?s ?Golden Years? have been tarnished?

　　Mike was happily living out his Golden Years in a comfortable home with a loving mom when tragedy struck.

　　Mike?s mom became ill, entered hospice care and passed away.

　　Suddenly Mike and his feline companions, Happy and Pat were ripped from their home and brought to the ACF.

　　At 10+ years old, this has been quite traumatic for Mike and he is understandably very scared. He does love pets, but is a bit nervous the entire time you are with him. Even as he begins a low rumbly purr, he licks his lips ? a sign that he is unsettled.

　　When you show him that you are there to love on him, he does relax and looks you right in the eye. He responds well to comforting words and is gaining confidence slowly but surely.

　　And he is quite dashing with his half moustache and goatee ? he looks a bit like a feline Hercule Poirot

　　Mike isn?t asking for very much ? a warm spot in the sun to sleep, a gentle hand to give pets, positive energy and lots of TLC.

　　Do you have room in your heart and home for this sensitive boy? We are looking for either a foster home or an adoptive home for Mike.

　　You can meet Mike at the Coronado Animal Care Facility any day between 9:00am and 4:00pm (except holidays). The Coronado Animal Care Facility is located at 1395 First Street in Coronado.
