Domestic Short Hair - Gray - Robin Goodfellow - Large - Young
I has many lives left ? right?
That?s right Robin Goodfellow, you most certainly do!
This young kitten has had quite a traumatic start in life. But as his foster family said, ?Robin Goodfellow has only seven of his nine lives left, but he lives them with joy and energy!?
Robin and his two siblings were found on the Strand, starving and cold with no momma cat in sight. Just three days old, the kittens were extremely weak and one of the kittens died immediately at the shelter. The second kitten died in his foster mom's hands just two hours after she got them. Needless to say, she sat up all night with Robin, willing him to stay alive, and by a miracle he did.
He grew stronger every day, but had a serious set back at six weeks old when he managed to do something that dozens of kittens before him had avoided - he sunk his teeth far enough into a lamp cord to get a severe shock.
Robin?s tongue was lolling and he had a heart rate of 300 ? a kitten's normal heart rate may range from 200 to 260 beats per minute.
His foster mom rushed him to the emergency animal hospital, where he was placed in an oxygen tent for 18 hours. X-rays showed that he did not damage his heart, and when he came out of the oxygen tent it was like he had had helium instead of oxygen, as he bounced high and far with a whole new energy!
Robin is super confident, adores people, is very playful and will entertain himself fighting his toys. In his foster home he grew up with four adult cats: two who ignored him, one who hissed at him, and one who played rough and tumble games with him and has chewed off his whiskers! Don?t worry though, they will grow back!
Robin seeks out people for attention and purrs loudly when you touch him. He loves to play with you, snuggle with you and occasionally suckle on you. He likes his feline roommates and engages them in play whenever he can. Between the cat room and his foster home, he is well accustomed to other cats and would prefer a home with another feline companion.
This little spitfire had many lives left ? are you the purrfect family for him to spend the rest of his lives with?
