　　Someone loved me once upon a time?Terra came to the Coronado Animal Care Facility at the end of July, already spayed and microchipped. Obviously she belonged to someone but they were no where in sight when this beautiful brown tabby girl was found wandering around 5th Street and A Avenue. We have no idea how long she was on her own. Her microchip had never been registered so there is no way to uncover what led this 4 year old brown tabby girl to our door. Life in a cage at the ACF terrified Terra so much so that a foster home was found for her. Her foster mom has this to say about Terra: Terra is timid with strangers at first but warms up once she builds her trust. The first week she spent with us she was under the bed during the day and would surface at night to sleep at the foot of the bed. She is particular on who she likes, she tolerates the dogs, and Felix & Annie two of our cats but does not do well with our other cat Sage. She also seems to do better with woman. I think Terra would thrive in a quiet home with no other animals but certainly could adapt to a home with dogs. Once Terra is comfortable she is a great cat with a lot of love to give! Terra may not be a ?turn key? cat, but she is well worth the effort once she trusts you and her environment. She will reward your patience and effort with loyalty and love.
