Domestic Short Hair - Black - Velvet - Medium - Young - Female

　　Vevet is 1 years old. Velvet lives up to her name. Her beautiful velvety coat is always kept so clean and shiny. Shes been slowly getting used to the shelter life, yelling demands at kennel staff to let her free! Velvet has even figured out how to escape from her kennel so she strut her stuff, showing off to all the other kitties. She has a very close relationship with her food and could probably eat for days. When feeding time comes around she is not shy to tell you shes hungry. A strict feeding schedule will be necessary for this lady since she tends to have no self-control. Be careful when presenting food because she will punch you in the arm to be first in line. Velvet is a little fidgety in the shelter but she supplements her restlessness with head scratches and conversations. We still arent sure if she likes other cats. This kitty would make a great addition to any family. Visiting hours are M-F 2-5:30 and Sat. 1-5.
