　　The Humane Society of West Alabama's cat adoption center at 1515 Veterans Memorial Pkwy is open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Appointments are available for other times with advance notice.

　　This is baby Tommy, a tiny little male solid black kitten with fuzzy charcoal-colored fur He doesn't have any white spots - he's 100% solid jet black. He has a very defined little muzzle that makes him look like he's smiling! We think he is!! Tommy is just 14 weeks old (10/3/12). He's an energetic, playful little man! But the second he's picked up and held, he goes limp as a noddle and purrs. Such a cuddlebug baby! We recommend he not be in a home with large dogs. He's been great and very gentle when being held by gentle children. Contact us or visit our cat adoption center to meet him!

　　Our flat adoption fee is $75, a fee to help defray a fraction of veterinary costs and general care expenses. Our adoptable animals have routine vet visits, and are as healthy as possible as soon as they are in our care. Vet records are provided to adopters. Read the descriptions thoroughly and note the specific personalities or special criteria we recommend (some are not good around kids, other cats, dogs, etc.). We cannot accept applications from minors/legal dependents. Read up on our adoption process .
