Domestic Short Hair - Black - Precious2 - Medium - Young

　　Precious is the little kitty that was hit by a car in front of Margo's real estate office in June of 2006. I estimate that, on May 11, 2007, Precious is plus or minus one year old. She is progressing very well with her injury. She uses her left arm to scratch the scratching post, dig in the litterbox, reach for a toy or a friend and pull toward herself. She does not put weight on it when she walks or RUNS because she cannot feel her paw. Our vet Dr. D. says that Precious probably will NOT need to have this limb amputated. We are watching this very closely. Doc says that she had a kitty with exactly this injury last year and now she's fine. I'm treating Precious exactly like any other kitten and she appears to have no special needs at all. Precious has been spayed, has her rabies vax onboard and tested negative for FeLV and FIV. Indoor only; Tucson area only. Precious gets along famously with other cats. She is VERY active and playful. She may never be a lap cat... very hyper, very sassy.
