Domestic Short Hair - Black - Luna - Reduced Adoption Fee

　　The Humane Society of West Alabama's cat adoption center at 1515 Veterans Memorial Pkwy is open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Appointments are available for other times with advance notice. We're all-volunteer and need at least a couple of days of advance notice to schedule appointments.

　　The Humane Society of West Alabama's "Home for the Summer" campaign aims to adopt out as many adult pets as possible this summer! During the month of June 2013, we've reduced adoption fees for all adult cats 1 year and older! Help us make this their best summer ever - by winning a loving family!

　　This beautiful, sleek young lady is Luna, a solid black female domestic shorthair, app. 1 to 2 years old. Luna is a youthful, friendly girl! She's very social and didn't take long at all to acclimate into our shelter. She does have a little bit of playful energy, but is more of a moderately energetic girl. She sometimes politely asks for attention by rubbing on legs and gently showing us she's here for love! Luna does well around other cats, and should do well around gentle children. She's always thrilled to meet new people, and is very friendly and polite when meeting everyone! We aren't sure how she feels about dogs. Please stop in at our cat adoption center or contact us to meet Luna!!

　　Our adoption fee is $75, a fee to help defray a fraction of vet costs and general care expenses. Our adoptable animals have routine vet visits and are as healthy as possible as soon as they are in our care, and are not available for adoption until they are cleared by one of our trusted local veterinarians.
