Domestic Short Hair - Bitsy - Medium - Adult - Male - Cat

　　Dear Friends, We have a beloved family member, our cat, Bitsy. He is 9 years old, an inside cat, declawed, and neutered. He is a wonderful pet that is loving and easy going. He enjoys eating, sleeping, and playing, in that order! Our granddaughter who is 16 months old has gotten sick the past 3 times she has come to our home and has been diagnosed with asthma and is allergic to cats. As you can imagine, we are devastated, but have to find a loving home for Bitsy right away. Bitsy has seen Dr. Connolly in Florence all his life, and is up to date on all immunizations. He also recently had his teeth cleaned and had his yearly checkup. He is a beautiful & chubby tabby cat, weighing 15.5 pounds, with white chest and underbelly, and he has very lovely and expressive green eyes. He is used to a fairly quiet environment, and is an only cat, with no other pets in the home. We previously had 2 other cats, but they have both passed away. He missed them at first but has adjusted to being alone very well. Bitsy enjoys napping on rugs, waits at the door to greet you when you arrive home, and will sit in your lap, especially if you happen to be eating chicken noodle soup!! He is a bit scared during thunderstorms and usually goes and gets under the bed. As soon as the thunder is over he is fine. He enjoys a head and back rub and loves for his neck & chin to be scratched, but dont mess with his tummy or back legs..he will let you know he doesnt like it by swatting his tail. He loves to play every day by chasing a ribbon or rope, and jumping up to try to catch it. He LOVES Christmas and enjoys playing with the tissue paper and wrapping paper, and likes the ornaments hanging near the bottom of the tree.
