Latte ? our heart goes out to this guy. He was found when he was a kitten, along with his 2 siblings, being washed down a drainage ditch during a heavy rain storm. One of the siblings had already passed away when the three of them were scooped out of the water. Since then, his sister (Mocha) has already been adopted. Since his kitten days, Latte has become a very calm, lazy boy!! He's a friendly guy and very low-energy!
Latte has a chronic right eye irritation that sometimes requires inexpensive ointment or drops. It isn't constant, and most likely not permanent - it's likely due to being around so many other cats at once time. Latte takes half a tablet of Benazepril to regulate his heart - something not rare in "overweight" cats, and something we're familiar with as a prescription. It's a relatively inexpensive prescription, actually, and very common. Latte has been waiting a while for someone to cuddle with him like a baby marshmallow, but who also doesn't mind washing his eye every once in in a while. In a home or foster home, it's very likely his watery eye problem will decrease dramatically.
Latte is a beautiful boy with sleek, shiny white fur and soulful gold eyes. He is 7 years old (May '12). Latte does well with all the cats at the Adoption Center, though he seems to come out of his shell more when he isn't competing for attention with so many other cats. He would really be overjoyed if he was the only cat, and he would likely adjust better as an only pet. Latte's personality has become very curious and outgoing, and we believe if he were to meet a dog, he would be fine once he became familiar with them.
Negative for FIV/ FeLK and current on vaccinations. Latte is neutered.
Our adoption fee is $75, a fee to help offset vet and general care expenses. Our adoptable animals have routine vet visits, and are as healthy as possible as soon as they are in our care. Vet records are given to adopters. Read up on our adoption process . Then, if you feel your home might be the right forever home and you would like to adopt this cat, submit an online application form.
