　　It?s a hard knocks life sometimes?

　　So far, that?s the way it has gone for our sweet Mowgli. Are you the one who can change his luck?

　　Mowgli first came to us as a kitten found as a stray on the Naval Amphibious Base. He was fostered by one of our volunteers and became an extremely social and happy little fellow.

　　His first family adopted him when he was just three months old. Things turned bad after a time ? the couple split up, the mom had no where to live and the dad was going to put Mowgli out in the streets. So at a year old, Mowgli was rescued again and brought back to the ACF.

　　Being the handsome, affectionate cat that he is, Mowgli was quickly adopted a second time after only a week at the ACF.

　　This too was not meant to be? Although his new family had the permission of their landlord to have Mowgli be a part of their family, once the owner of the house came to town, he said no and gave them 24 hours to get rid of Mowgli.

　　Six months after his second adoption, Mowgli is once again with us at the ACF. Now a year and a half old, he has grown into a wonderful cat. His naturally charming personality has been cultivated by the people who showered him with love and in each case had to tearfully say goodbye to him.

　　Mowgli?s new mantra is, ?The third time is a charm!? Come meet the delightful Mowgli and see if you can offer this boy the opportunity to have that third home and family that will be his lucky charm. If you are interested in adopting Mowgli, you must first complete a Cat Adoption Application and meet with a PAWS of Coronado Cat Adoption Counselor. Cat adoption counselors are on call every day between 12:00 pm and 3:00 pm.
