　　We all enjoy seeing the cat that is quick to come to the front of the cage to draw you in to have a chance at winning your heart. Sometimes that creates a spark that opens our hearts to the prospect of a wonderful relationship with a new feline companion. Yet, sometimes still waters run deep and there are those like Andrew who only need a little time along with loving respect to bring forth the amazing love and affection they have to give. I found Andrew trying to curl up as small as possible as he saw me reach toward him. Moving slowly I let Andrew settle comfortably in his cage as I started to pet him. His former owner said that he can be very shy but also very sweet and affectionate! After a short time petting him, I heard this deep rumble of a purr that just didnt quit. Andrew loved getting his ears and head scratched and even let me rub his tummy!! What a wonderful experience to bring forth the beautiful heart of a loving, giving kitty. Behind Andrews initial shyness lies a big-hearted prince who will be a wonderful companion for someone willing to allow a shy, loving guy to become a life-time friend!! Andrew will do best with kids at least 8 years old. With a slow introduction he would probably be OK with other cats, but no dogs, please. You, with the tender hearts you know who you are, come meet our sweet, affectionate Andrew!!
