　　Throughout this summer 2012, the Humane Society of West Alabama wants to increase my chances at finding my forever home by reducing my adoption fee! Email my rescue group or stop in to meet me!

　　The Humane Society of West Alabama's cat adoption center at 1515 Veterans Memorial Pkwy is open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Appointments are available for other times with advance notice. We're all-volunteer need at least a couple of days of advance notice to schedule appointments.

　　This beautiful fluffball is Mimi, a sweet and polite young lady. Mimi is a long-haired solid black female who appears to be mixed with Maine Coon. Mimi is estimated to be under 5 years of age, but at least a year or two. She has gigantic, gorgeous dark yellow eyes! Mimi was brought to us after her rescuer found homes for all of her kittens, but didn't know what to do with her. We don't know if Mimi had been owned and dumped on her property or had always been homeless, but we know she's a very loving girl! Mimi likes taking her time to find her way into your lap, relaxing as you groom or pet her. Mimi is a very calm, low-energy girl, and very affectionate! She's a perfectly sweet and very fluffy companion! Stop by our cat adoption center to meet Mimi and many more adoptable cats and kittens!

　　Negative for FIV and FeLK, current on vaccinations and has been spayed.

　　Our adoption fee is temporarily reduced to only $50, a fee to help defray a fraction of veterinary costs and general care expenses. Our adoptable animals have routine vet visits, and are as healthy as possible as soon as they are in our care. Vet records are provided to adopters. Read up on our adoption process .
