My story
This baby lost her family through no fault of her own due to a divorce. She is absolutely precious, loves everyone she has met, was great getting vetted, will be available after her spay December 12, but I'm taking applications to get pre-approval.She needs to go to a quiet home with no small children and someone who is home most of the time to spoil her rotten and who has other small dogs in the home for her to play with. She has the poodle hair instead of the Maltese hair and will need to be groomed every few weeks so I do need your groomer's name added on the application and you do need to have experience with Doodle or poodle type hair because they will get matted in a heartbeat. You will need a vet reference and have kept your dogs on heartworm preventative and up-to-date on vaccines and the dogs in the home must be spayed or neutered. She's pretty good on a leash so if you walk your dogs, that's fine or if they're let out to play in potty, you must be out to supervise them in a very secure fenced yard. She's a bit selective on her potty training, according to the Foster Mom, so the new owner would have to be very aware of that and stay on top of the potty training. She will fuss awhile at first when put in her crate. She is only 3 years old so she has many many more years left, so take that into consideration before you apply please. The adoption fee is $400 and you may apply to adopt atMadisonARF.org
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Dolly Parton, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
