Dollie's story

　　Dollie and her three tiny pups were found in a trash heap out in the cold. Someone had just dumped them like yesterday's trash instead of the wonderful dogs that they are! Dollie seems to be a basenji mix while the puppies have some healer in them. She is working on potty training because apparently she was never loved enough to be brought into someone's home and taught how to be a beloved pet, but she's catching on fairly quickly! She's getting used to being in the house and being loved by the foster parents and the dogs in the foster home. She loves to play, enjoys toys and snuggles, running in the fenced yard with her foster and sisters and playing fetch; she's doing well with crate training, but she's going to need something in the crate to occupy her time while she's in her "room". She'd do well with another dog to play with and kids over age 8 who've been raised with dogs and know how to respect them, because she's not used to kids (nor cats). She doesn't need a very loud home. She does well with larger dogs and smaller dogs, as the foster parents have both.
