We bought 5 light kits from IKEA but we only wanted the cords and sockets and decided to use different light covers (some old glass balls we bought at Habitat For Humanity). So, these are brand new light covers.

　　Use them to replace the covers on your existing lamps or use the included 5 sockets (that we removed from the units that we bought at Habitat) if you're crafty and create new lamps.

　　You can see there is a plastic coating that you'll remove when you put them together. This means they're brand new!
