My story

　　Hello, my name is Dixie: * I am a 9-12-year-old Doxie lady. * I am house trained! I use the doggy door at my foster familys home. * I enjoy eating and cuddling with my people and other gentle animals. I'd probably do well with respectful children. * I like to follow my person around the house. And when I am walked I like my person to be the leader. My back legs look a little stiff and I get around just fine. * I am a quiet dog and have only really barked (for short periods of time) when left alone in confined places (kennel) or when I'm happy (ex/ when my people come home). Please don't pass me up because I am a senior dog. I promise I'd make a wonderful addition to your family!
