My story
02/05/20 17:24 Diesel was surrendered to the shelter because his owner was moving and could not take him with. Diesel has lived primarily as an indoor pet but will stay outside when his owner is away. Diesel knows basic commands and will nudge you when he needs to potty. Diesel rides well in a car, generally minds well and is outgoing and affectionate, although he can be a bit nervous in new situations. Diesel has done well with children but hasn't lived with babies, does well with adults and fine with dogs, per his owner, but will attack and kill cats. Diesel should not go to a home with cats or small animals and will be required to meet any small dogs that live in the home. Mutual visits are always recommended with dogs that live in the home prior to adoption to ensure it is a good fit. Due to his shy behavior at the shelter, he cannot go to a home with children 12 years and younger. Diesel should also never be turned loose as he will roam and may not return (or at least not promptly).
