Deuce found himself at Maricopa County Animal Care and Control as a stray with a microchip that was never registered. That stinks for him.

　　PSA: Please be sure that your pets microchip is updated. ? They cant return your animal to you if your info is not on the chip.

　　Deuce is a [young] 11-year-old plot hound mix weighing 48 lbs. We are all in disbelief that he is actually 11 when our volunteers who run with the dogs come back from a 1.5 mile run with Deuce still wanting to go for more. Deuce is a gentle soul who loves a good back scratching on the grass and to play with his toys. He is a super smart boy that does well with other dogs, but were not sure about cats. Deuce rides well in the car and enjoys chewing on his bully sticks. Our volunteers just cant say enough positive things about Deuce. He is just a low-maintenance guy who deserves a second chance.
