My story

　　I spy the sweetest guy!I’m a handsome 2-year-old Terrier/Spaniel mix male, weighing in at 16 pounds. I’ve already been neutered and am crate-trained and potty-trained, too. I love taking walks and am a pro on a leash. I have a little bit of separation anxiety and will whine a bit when you leave, but it’s nothing that a little bit of training won’t fix.Sadly, my past isn’t a happy one. I was found abandoned on a seven-story roof in Tijuana with several other doggies and am believed to have experienced some pretty intense abuse and trauma in my short life. Thankfully, I was rescued by TAP, and I’ve been healing with my foster family and learning how great this life really can be! It’s taken me a little while to warm up after what I’ve been through, but I’m learning that humans are friendly and have been making great strides. I’m still a little scared of being touched, but I like to follow my foster family around the house and be near them. As far as other doggies go, it’s no mystery that we get along great! However, I’m not sure how I would do around cats since I’ve never spent much time around them. Kids would probably be fine, but I’d prefer older children who can respect my boundaries and allow me some time to feel comfortable.If you’re looking for a quiet and easy-going pup, I’m your guy! My ideal furever home would be a family who’d be willing to put in the work to gain my trust and help me reach my full potential.
