DERRINGER's story

　　Derringer was surrendered to the shelter because his previous owner was concerned about his behavior with small children. Derringer is a sweet boy who enjoys the company of his humans and going on walks, however, he is anxious about small children who may pull his tail, so a home with only older children, if any, is preferable. This big boy likes his space, so a small apartment or cabin would not be ideal for him. He may have a high prey drive, so he will likely not do well with cats or other small animals; he is also not good with other dogs. Derringer would benefit from a home that will give him the structure, attention and exercise he needs to be a good boy!
