My story
Denver is a 2-year-old male Catahoula mix who must be neutered before he is adopted. He came to PAHS as a stray who was brought in by a kind-hearted person who found him. Denver is solid white with exception of some dilute black spots spread throughout his coat; and he has gorgeous eyes! He weighs 44 pounds so he is considered to be a medium sized adult dog. Denver is handsome as can be; and he is a friendly, sweet fellow. He is super active and somewhat goofy when he plays. Denver is a lover of playing and being outside. This guy would be fine with children and other dogs. Denver is working on his leash training and it is a work in progress! He is a strong dog and would need an adopter who is willing to take up a lot of time with him. Denver would be happiest if he had a nice fenced yard where he can safely play. He would also appreciate an active family who would include him in lots of outdoor activities. Denver has the potential to be an amazing family dog; he just needs the right family to give him a chance.Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120 and cat/kitten adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
