DENALI's story

　　03/07/19 Denali came to the shelter because his previous owner thought he was getting too old to run long distances and thought he would be better for a recreational team. According to his previous owner, Denali has not run at all in the last month but in his prime, he could easily run 40-50 miles and may be able to again if someone took time to get him back in shape. He would be ideal for a recreational team, skijoring home or junior musher. He can run anywhere in the team except lead. He has completed many races including the North American Open. He can be timid but is not aggressive at all and is looking for an active retirement home. He has always done fine with other dogs.` Denali has lived outside his entire life and is not used to an indoor environment and is not house-trained.
