My story
Dean is a 1 year old Terrier mix weighing about 12lbs. We say Dean looks like a little Bambi with his bouncy long legs and lean body...he is just as cute as it comes. When Dean was first rescues in NM he was weak and terrified, and quickly came down with parvo. He was hospitalized for a few days and fortunately has made a full recovery. Dean has been in foster care here in CO for a few weeks now, where he has really come out of his shell into a happy, playful puppy. Dean has an endless amount of energy (if needed, but also knows how to chill). He would absolutely love another doggo in his forever home, but more than anything he LOVES playing with his tennis balls. He has become very good at fetch and could literally play fetch all day long. His current foster Momma loves to take Dean for daily walks and hikes in the mountains and he absolutely loves it. He would be such a great adventure buddy, and even though he is small, he is very athletic and agile and would do great on longer, tougher hikes. He does the funniest thing on hikes and if you kick a stick or pinecone he loves to pounce on them, he is just so playful, smart, and cute! Dean is a velcro dog and loves to be with his human as much as possible. He is okay being alone, but would prefer to be by your side...even while you go to the bathroom or take a shower...haha. He loves to snuggle up on his foster Mommas lap while she works and is a good boy who understands down time. Dean does need to work on potty training still but seems to have it down pretty much, as long as his foster Momma lets him out frequently.
