Meet our handsome poodle Dean! Dean is 9 years young and weighs about 10 lbs. Dean is a ladies man. He loves to give kissed but to girls only! He LOVES walks and is a very confidant boy. He likes when people talk to him or he sees dog friends. Dean does have some vision impairment that we think is why he likes to bark at nothing sometimes when out on a walk such as trees or lamp posts. When he bumps into things they don't bother him he just continues on his merry way tail a wagging. Not particularly into being cuddled but loves back scratches & kisses from his foster momma. He is a little head shy-he is scared of being held or having his face touched. Because of his vision impairment, you should talk to him before gently touching him so he is not startled. Dean LOVES fluffy blankets and stuffed toys- He is a nester & loves a warm sunny place to take nap. Dean just had a fresh dental cleaning, is neutered, microchipped and current on his vaccines. His adoption fee is $250 which helps the rescue cover medical expenses and supplies. Please fill out an application today to meet sweet Dean!
All of our dogs are in private volunteer foster homes, and as such these individuals are most qualified to answer any questions regarding the dog.
We do not have a central shelter or kennel locations - you must make a private one-on-one meet and greet appointment with each individual dog at the foster family's convenience. To protect our foster families' privacy, we must have an APPROVED adoption application on file before we release their contact information.
All of our dogs are fixed (spayed/neutered) and up to date on shots. We have a 2 week foster-to-adopt period to make sure the dog is a fit for your family. Adoption fees vary from dog-to-dog.
Please note that an approved application DOES NOT guarantee that the dog will be placed with you. The final decision rests with our fosters as they know the dogs the best, and please be aware that there may be other applicants interested in the same dog. We continue accepting applications on a dog until the dog is with the new adoptive family in their home.
