My story

　　11/16/22 This energetic boy is Daylight! Daylight was surrendered back to the shelter due to his prior owner’s work schedule changing and them not feeling they had enough time to care for him. Daylight is a young energetic boy who is looking for an active home! He would highly benefit from going to a basic obedience class to work on his manners. He was said to know a few basic commands but does not always mind the best. Daylight also really loves to jump on people when greeting them. He was said to be a very friendly and affectionate boy. In the past he has always done well with children and strangers. He was also said to have done well with other dogs but has no history with smaller critters. Please make sure you are doing slow, safe, and controlled introductions with other critters for the best outcome. Daylight has a lot of energy that might not always be well received by other animals. Daylight was said to be mostly housebroken but has had the occasional accident in his kennel. He may need some reminders in his new home and more frequent bathroom breaks! Daylight was surrendered to the shelter with little information provided about him. Being that he is still a puppy he is looking for a dedicated owner who can help him grow into the best well behaved dog out there! Daylight is going to need help with potty training, basic commands, and socialization. He may enjoy going to a basic puppy obedience class to begin working on his manners! Here at the shelter Daylight has been very friendly and affectionate towards his animal tenders! He does however already love to jump!
