Dawson is a 5 year old black Shih Tzu/terrier/dachshund mix who weighs in at just over 13 pounds. Dawson was found running as a stray on the streets of Houston. He was skinny, had kennel cough and a bad flea bite allergy. After medical treatment in Texas and two weeks of foster care there, he traveled to Denver to find his new home. He is a little timid when first meeting new people, but he warms up VERY quickly. He loves attention and loving and gets along well with other dogs about his size. He loves to run around outside in his fenced-in backyard. Dawson is crate trained.

　　Dawson is neutered, he is up to date on his shots (rabies, distemper and kennel cough) vet checked, heartworm tested negative and on preventative while in rescue, and micro chipped.
