My story

　　Say hello to your future house hippo, Dave! Dave made the long journey to New York all the way from an overcrowded shelter in New Orleans in search of a better life. He was chosen because everyone could see how sweet and deserving he was and what a wonderful companion he'd make. Dave arrived with several other dogs and was the first dog that our staff took off the van because his happy tail was whipping a mile a minute and he just looked so excited to begin the next chapter of his life! He was also the only dog who hadn't had an accident in his crate; Dave was already housebroken when he arrived! Dave is a funny, silly, playful boy with lots of energy who loves belly rubs, chasing balls and frisbees and spending time outdoors. He's ready for his next adventure and hopes it's with you!
