My story

　　My name is Darcy and I can’t wait to find a home of my own!   

　　I was born in a trailer park where there are too many dogs. The people cared for me and my siblings as best they could. They asked Save a Stray for help and here I am ready for a home.

　　I love to play with other dogs. They can be the boss if they want to be, I don’t mind at all. I’m just happy to have a playmate.

　　I like to go on walks and discover the world. When my human leaves me in her laundry room I am careful to not go potty. She doesn’t leave me long so it’s pretty easy to wait until she lets out in the yard to do my business.  

　　I like to play but it’s also nice to curl up with my foster mom and chill.  If you would like to adopt me we could have so much fun.

　　Save a Stray pets are in foster homes.  Please complete an application at  to make arrangements to meet our pets.  Out of state meet and greets are conducted via FaceTime.

　　This pet has been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, and is on heartworm and flea prevention and has adoption fee of $175 (local) - $500 (depending on transport destination).
