My story
Dany was surrendered to the shelter when her previous owner was unable to find housing for her after a move and the family member who was watching her was no longer able to keep her. Dany was having persistent accidents in the house; after a visit to the vet it was discovered that poor Dany had a raging urinary tract infection! Dany is receiving a course of antibiotics that will hopefully resolve this issue and put a stop to any more inappropriate urination. Dany's new owner will need to schedule a recheck at Mt. McKinley for after she has finished her medication- the recheck will be covered by the shelter fund. Dany is said to get along well with both cats and dogs, and likes humans young and old, but she is very stubborn. Dany will take food from younger children if given the chance, so she will need someone who will work with her to modify her behaviors. Dany is also quite overweight, and as she is an older dog it will be important to help her slim down so that she can remain active and spry for as long as possible.
