My story

　　Dani is your typical abandoned dog, found running the streets with no collar, no microchip and no owners looking for her. We are still learning about her temperament and characteristics but what we can say for sure, is that she is a working gal who needs regular and consistent mental and physical exercise to keep her, both mentally and physically, balanced. She is smart, so smart that she can pretend to not be smart. She is independent yet loyal and takes time to bond. Affection is rare, which makes it even more precious when she does show it. It’s like you’ve won a medal! If you’re wondering what breed she is, well, our best guess is that she is part Cattle Dog and part French Bulldog. She displays characteristics of both. She is stubborn yet driven. She has a herding instinct and by the way she nips at you, we can tell she would be perfect as a working dog at a ranch, or in a kindergarten (just kidding!). She prefers some dogs over others. She has not been tested with cats yet. She is 1-2 years old but we will know more accurately once she is seen by our Vet.Please note: Due to the Veterinarians being overbooked, her first appointment is on August 27th, which is when she will be medically evaluated and given her first dose of vaccines. We don’t know if she is spayed. If she isn’t, adopter must wait till she is spayed to take her home. We are, however, accepting adoption applications for her. Once approved, you will be able to come see her as often as you would like. This will give you the opportunity to get to know each other and bond before you take her home, making for an easy transition phase.
